I called the attending physician in from home to deliver one of "my" babies with some minor surgical assistance. He came in, introduced himself to the couple, assessed the lady, agreed with my plan, and left to change into scrubs. He was back in no time. The nurse said, "Wow! That was fast!" I said, "Dr. F. is a triathlete. He knows how to get through transition." This guy's done at least 2 Ironmans (would that be Ironmen?). Changing clothes quickly would be his forte!
