Hmmm, I like the nubs! If those shoes were made specifically for diabetic feet, don't you think they'd have taken the sensitivity into consideration? Wouldn't hurt to just try them on...

    Diabetic Comfort Shoe

Protective toe cap, elevated heel rim and super soft foot bed

The Cloud, by CrocsRx, is specially designed with the diabetic foot in mind. The super-soft foot bed provides a gentle environment for sensitive feet, while the roomy toe box allows for use of a heavy sock without creating any tightness or pressure points on the foot. In addition, the protective front toe cap and elevated heel rim protect the diabetic foot from stubb(ing?)

I love my Keens and my Birkenstocks. You can never have too many comfy shoes so now because of you naughty TE girls Im going to have to check out these Crocs.

    Nanci:

The Crocs (for diabetic feet) actually would be worth a try for my mom . And, if she liked them, I'd be psyched. She hasn't had a comfy pair of shoes for such a long time! It would be nice to see her smile.

    Thanks!

    Denise

p.s. hmmm.....I think that I'd like the "nubs" myself....then again, I enjoy the tingling, too .

Nanci, I like the nubs too. My Crocs are the most comfortable shoes I own and I'm going to need another pair in a really fun color! Black is practical but boring ...decisions, decisions... So, did you order your purple ones yet?

Denise, I haven't seen The Cloud shoe (or know about it), but it does sound like a good choice. It wouldn't hurt to see if these could work for her. You can find them on the website.

I just saw these things called "jibbitz charms" for Crocs shoes --

    http://shop.nordstrom.com/SR?KeyWord...=KeywordSearch

Kinda cute for kids --- wish they had a little bike charm though.

I'll be getting my mom a pair of the Clouds to try..... Certainly can't hurt - it would be great if she loved them
Of course, I need a pair too -- so many colors to choose from !

    Have a peaceful evening!

I just ordered fuschia caymens yesterday. My friend Teresa is going to wear the limes today at work to see if she likes them. Now I just need some jibbitz!

    Denise -

How funny - was looking to buy another pair of Crocs on Nordstrom.com yesterday and noticed those little jibbitz - also looked for something cycling related - I suppose the sunflowers could pass for the TdF sunflower fields!!!

    GreenMachine -

I have them in black as well (and absolutely love them), but now I want a fun color - probably yellow, since it's my favorite color, but geez, to coordinate yellow with my wardrobe might prove difficult!!! Hey, wait a minute, I have some Lance 10//2 shirts(with yellow) - there you go, problem solved!!!

    Hi Kathryn,

I think you NEED the yellow Crocs to go with your 10/2 shirts!! What I want is the green ones since my bike is green (and yellow) and it's my favorite color. I have a cycling buddy that will NEVER let me hear the end of it cuz he's always ribbing me for being so color coordinated when I'm on the bike!! A friend suggested that I do my next ride with him sporting green and yellow nail polish. I haven't looked that hard for some yet but it sounds like a fun idea to me!
