Yes, only inseam lenght is 8 inches.

For the price, I just may need to buy one. I could nto tell the sizes, since they did not give hip measurements. I am cursed with a smaller waist and wide hips (birthing 3 kids did not help my hip area
).

well i have the same thing, I am not a narrow hipped (
is that english?) girl. They do sit a little higher on waist, but I don't really mind that.

Thank you for the info. I will definitely check into getting a pair. I prefer the shorts to sit higher.

No problem, if you don't mind wearing men's shorts ( i never did but wouldn't mind trying) Nashbar has more selection of mens
shorts from demarchi. They are a little more expensive but from what I heard they are very comfortable shorts

A poity there is not as wide a selection of womens biking clothing as there are mens.
