I'm dirty

I think the worse thing that happened to my wardrobe and my body for that matter was when I was riding to school one day. I always rode my bike to class with no regard to the elements. One rainy morning, I decided to go ahead and ride to class. I wore some nice shorts, and a very good rain jacket that was very appropriate for riding. The rain was not heavy at all, but very misty. Once I got to campus, I had to make a very hard right hand turn. I totally forgot about the fact that the road was wet, so as I was making this smooth yet tight turn, my rear wheel gave out from underneath me. I hydroplaned aprox. 10 - 15 feet on my right side. I didn't notice a thing exept that there were a lot of students passing by me either laughing or just looking shocked, though one guy was very nice and picked up my bike asking if I was ok. I stood up and brushed myself off and thanked him for his concern and help.

Once in my German class, I sat down and noticed that I was wet all over and there was a huge nasty open wound that started from the top of my right knee all the way up to my buttock. It had to be at least 8 inches wide on my thigh and it was bleeding with pieces of asphalt lodged in it, but I had seen a lot worse. My professor finally came in and the first thing out of his mouth was, "Oh my g**, were you attacked by a dog?!"

I actually felt a little bit proud of the fact that I braved the weather and managed to get to class dispite the fact that I made a stupid bicycle error. At the end of the day, boy did it hurt riding back home after the wound started to scab.

I think the worst I have managed was getting half-way though a ballet class and being asked by may teacher why I had a chain-ring tattoo on my pale pink ballet tights.....Oops! After that I started wearing black tights.

I always laugh at myself when I am trying to srub all the dirt and grime off me... and a spot won't go away.

Then, I realize... I am scrubbing a bruise.

At least these have given me a use for those scrubbie thingies and shower gels I seem to get every Christmas!

LOL... I have done this many times too...

I think its time to just get a permanant chain tat across my calf, and then no-one will ask me dumb questions!

Ummm, I´m not that little or delicate, but it did add to the comic effect of me in a leotard.
Those soaps with bits of loofah in are great for removing the oil from legs, but I have may pairs of trousers which will never be the same again.
The bike I had at university had chain guard, skirt guard, mud guard etc. so could be ridden with an academic gowm, but it was nowhere near as fun as the bikes I ride now.
