I'm up for a post-ride meal too - but I will need to get cleaned up a bit first, or you all are going to want me to sit at a table way over by myself somewhere (probably outside)! I'll bring some clothes to change into and plenty o' wipes! I'm looking foward to the ride!

I suspect if we eat in Monterey, we'll all be icky. If we eat in Salinas after hotel check-in time, there is our room at the Residence Inn. Bring an extra towel.

I dunno any other details other than picking up Kim, the ride time and the hotel. That much has already overloaded my pea brain.

Hee hee!! I guess Ann and I are now the officially-designated troublemakers. I'm totally down with that. Ann?

OK, I'll be there. I finally hemmed & hawed about it enough. I just have to figure out how long the drive will take from 680... 2.5 hours? I'll stare at the map.

That's what I'm allowing, but who knows what it will actually take. I have been late before (and also wrong) you know ... I haven't looked at Mapquest yet, but I seem to remember it was about a 100 mile drive from Concord.

Bikerz can be very persuasive! I think you're the last "maybe" on the fence. What's it going to take to talk you into this? I hope you can make it!

Sorry you can't join us Cindy - I guess you're not a tough as I thought! Sure, you can ride 46 miles in 110 degrees with a broken collarbone without a sling, but once you get a sling on, you just can't hack it!

And I just sent Windance what I hope is a VERY persuasive email ... complete with subliminal messages. So we'll see!

    Attention travelers - Traffic info

Satruday there are 2 big events that may cause some traffic problems. The San Jose Grand Prix is in San Jose. And the Garlic Festival is in Gilroy. Both will add a "few" cars to the road. Be prepared.
