I plan on a stop at the top of Jamboree and Chapman/Santiago to regroup, refuel and refill water bottles at the mini-mart at the Chevron station before we begin the climbing on Santiago Canyon Road. It won't be a problem to stop before or after that planned stopped either...it all depends on what the group needs. I just wanted to make sure that there was an opportunity to stop and to get water before we head in.
After lunch if stops need to be made, that's not a problem either. On the BF ride we did last week, if anyone needed to stop at anytime, we all stopped. It was never an issue or problem with the group and everyone welcomed the short breaks.
BTW Pam...I see that BCI is doing Santiago Canyon Road on Sunday as well...looks like we'll be trailing them!
Please send me your email address if you would like a route slip. Just a warning, the beginning is a little bit confusing with regards to crossing Jamboree and entering the San Diego Creek Trail. I'm sure that we'll all be together at that point though and we can just make sure that there is a person leading who knows where they're going.Same goes for exiting the SD Creek Trail and then entering the Shady Canyon Path. I'm sure it will all be fine though!
