the results are in: biking is good for your kids

My husband and I, both "the last kid picked on a team" had no interest in sports really, so we didn't get our kids into little league, swimming or soccer. So they essentially had no sports or interest in sports either. But when they were little, we bought them bikes and a typical big family event was a 2 mile ride around a park we have (Seward Park). This ride took over 1 hour. When the boys were 11 and 13 they did their first Seattle to Portland ride. The older son only did it one other time, but my younger son has done it several times, including one day 200 milers and Ramrod.

Well, my skinny little boys grew up to be men, and I want you guys to see the legs they have developed from Bicycling.
(they also hike and climb now, but the bike came first.)

Promote bicycling at home and your kids will be bikers!!
