I used to love Terry shorts, but last year, they changed their sizing (started sizing up, so a small was more like a medium), so I tried PI shorts, which I liked better. I noticed that Terry came out with a new short this year---the Bella---so I thought I'd give it a go. Tried them on--fit more like the old Terrys, thank goodness. The chamois is much better than the ones that used to be in the T-shorts. Not bulky like the PI, either. Today I wore them for a 26-mile ride. Comfortable but I'm not sure how the chamois would hold up over long rides like Centuries. I really like the fabic, too. It's substantial and offers good support, although it has kind of a rubbery type feel (which I don't mind but others might not like) The styling is awesome, as the waist has no elastic in the very front and it cuts down a bit into a V. Not too low, thank goodness. There's a wide elastic waistband that goes around the rest of the waistband around the back. I got the ones with the fushia stitching and they were flattering. PI's are still my favorite, but I really like these new Bellas, too. I might have to give the Sheila Moon shorts a try, too.
