Ok, so I went up Old RR Grade to the top of Tam today, which I like to ride pretty often, but I'm kinda gettin' a bit bored with it so, silly me, I decide to go down via "Eldridge Grade." Now mind you, I rode it about a year ago and guess I'd forgotten how truly horrific it is (unless you are a 17 year old kid with a crazy streak)....anyhooo, I made it, with only one minor fall through a combination of walking (particularly at the top) and praying.....I ran into a biker farther down who said the trail had been particularly messed up by this year's rains....sure...at any rate, I swear never to attempt this again. Old RR Grade seemed like an old friend when I finally hooked up after Hoo-Koo-E-Koo...... It was a glorious, if somewhat hot, day to ride though....Happy Mother's Day!!!!
