The father of the guy who drive the truck, killed the people and then the police killed him, had depression/psychiatric problems. Father tried to get him to see one. The guy was also divorced and did not have custody of his child(ren).
It doesn't make the crime less...
Lots of broken hearts these days.
It's also tough to talk about it unless one is among friends and family who have read lots of different perspectives, thought about some of this at different times in life ...police, racism (I'm thinking what happened in Minneapolis, Baton Rouge, Dallas), faith intermingled deep depression, etc.
