We did MarieV's favorite Maltby-Granite Falls 100k last weekend to complete our third year of tandem P-12. I'm pleased about that, but the real reason I'm posting is to show you all this.

Seen on a lovely little back road called Woods Creek Road: Somebody is in the midst of doing an extraordinary eagle-and-salmon wood carving out of a tree trunk. It looks like it's still in process because the wood chips are fresh. The first picture shows Google Earth's view of this house in 2009; the second shows what we saw last week.
