Is there a more appropriate place on TE for this posting? If so, please tell me. : )

Our wonderful housesitter is moving away. We are looking for a new person who would take care of our 1 dog, 2 cats, and 2 chickens (probably 4 chickens by summertime actually). We'd like someone who would stay at our home while we are away. We don't go away that often, maybe 3-4 times a year. Usually just long weekends, but occasionally a week or so.

Does anyone know someone in the Portland area who would be interested in this? We live right in the midst of great biking roads, if that helps. I could start looking on Craigslist and such, but I feel more trusting of someone that is referred by one of the TE women!
