It does--and that is the silver lining of non-permanent injury. Gives us something to appreciate when health returns.
I should mention it's not entirely an age thing. I seem to be a bit injury-prone at ages 36-38. At least I hope that 38 is the upper bound of this injury-prone phase of my life. I will watch for it to return at 52...
