Do you start from the top down to avoid an unsightly gap near shift cable? Or go bottom - to the top, and notch the tape to allow the shift cable space and avoid bunching?

Most have said top - downwards, but I'm asking all you well-experienced ladies out there your opinions. Happy Cycling!
