I am sorry too! Many people on this forum have used knee walkers while dealing with foot/ankle injuries. I had to rent mine out of pocket for a month ($100), but I think some had some success with insurance coverage. Anyway, it was totally worth the $100 to have free hands, and I was getting carpal tunnel from using the crutches.
