I haven't ridden in a week, during the nicest week of the whole summer , as I was really sick with a sinus infection, ear infection, and generally feeling awful.
Today I went out alone for a 15.5 mile ride on one of my smaller loops, except I did it in the opposite direction I usually do. It's the first time I've ridden the Guru since I got back from vacation, too, as DH just put them back together this week. Had no expectations on the ride, it was really nice out, about 82, partly sunny, and just barely a little humid. I went out later, around 2:30, so the usual hordes of cyclists were done for the day.
I felt better than I thought I would and my speed wasn't too bad, either. Hope to do a longer ride tomorrow, when DH is installing our new dishwasher .
