Wishing you a speedy recovery, Chatnoire! We (hubby, friend, and I) rode 100 today...our 2nd century of the season so far. It was much cooler out this morning, so I sort of had a feeling that we would shoot for 100 today. Yesterday, we rode 63 miles in extreme heat and humidity...which was utterly miserable. My Garmin indicated that it was 103 degrees at about 9:15am. In reality, it was probably more like 97 or 98 degrees (Garmin always seems a bit on the high side with temps)...but when it's that hot that early in the morning, it feels all the same to me...which is pretty awful. Glad to have gotten my 100-miler for July out of the way...now I don't have to think about one for at least a month.
