Oh, I believe you! It was just one of those phrases that makes the reader do a double-take. "Did I read that right??".

About 15-16 years ago, I did a solo bike tour that included riding through Yellowstone National Park. People in cars were remarkable laid back about the bison, but those of us on bikes were WAY more cautious!
