Indy - I totally hear you on 'making do'. Our house is very, very slowly transforming into something that feels like a true home that is actually a reflection of us, but we are severely limited by funding and our knowledge that this is not our dream home at all. So we end up making due as best we can with base materials when our tastes would warrant something significantly more upscale or unique. And of course, our location, size and property couldn't support much higher-end OR off-the-wall than we've got anyway so we make do...

My blog is still out there, but I don't update it very often anymore. I've discovered that when time runs short, the easiest thing to cut out is blogging since it doesn't feed anything or support anyone...
