I did a 6 mile tempo run last night and had a 10:30/mm average! And I walked part of the last mile as a cool down. That is rockin' for me. Now if I could do two of those back to back, I might be able to break a 2:30 hour hm.

I don't know what the difference was but some days you feel good and others you can't pick your feet up. Monday's 3 mile run was ugly then I ran last night and thought something was wrong with my Garmin because 10 mm were feeling easy.

Is this how it happens? Do you just have to keep plugging away and hang in there to get faster? It's taken me 2 years to be able to run this pace. Running hasn't come easy for me.
