Specialized Jett/Ruby: The new ones

I have both the old and the new Ruby saddles and can't really tell the difference. Here are pics from the web site (left = old):

How is the overall length of the new vs old? I currently am riding on an older Ruby (with the silver tip nose). It almost looks as though the newer style is a tad bit shorter in length compared to the older one? Or is it just an optical illusion with the silver tip being gone on the new one?
