DH and I went to the Tour de Corn with friends today and road the 65 mile loop. It is a very flat (I mean NO HILLS) charity ride that offers corn on the cob at the rest stops. We took our TT bikes because it was so flat. It's a great ride to hop on a pace line and see how hard you can go and we did. It was a fun day.
I checked out the ride website the other day, it does look like it could be fun - or brutal if there is a strong wind coming across those cornfields. Did you have much of a head/crosswind?
