Completed my first 1/2 marathon race yesterday. Goal time was 2hrs and I hit it just about on the nose 2:00.08 (8 seconds over), this weekend is our 20 mile training run for the marathon - then we start to taper. 4 weeks til race day.

I got outside yesterday for about an hour of run walk/intervals. I suppose I should get more deliberate about my runs--in terms of measuring how long my intervals are and how far I go, but right now, I prefer to just head out and see what develops. I'm not training for anything per se after all. Yesterday felt good except when I was running into a stiff wind.
Live with intention. Walk to the edge. Listen hard. Practice wellness. Play with abandon. Laugh. Choose with no regret. Continue to learn. Appreciate your friends. Do what you love. Live as if this is all there is.
