It'll be 6 months at the end of Feb. I got the word from my cardiologist that I can go off of the coumadin in 3 weeks. Yay! But... no more swimming except for splashing around in the pool. After talking to some docs who put in lots of pacemakers, he really thinks it was the movement of the swimming that caused the clot in the first place. (The clot was in my subclavian vein where the pacemaker wires are.) So, no more tris. I guess I'll be looking for du's this summer.

I'm bummed but I'm happy to be going off of the coumadin.

Anyone want to buy some wetsuits? Seriously.
