I haven't ventured on the pump track, but we have a BMX style trail at one of our local trails. It is like a roller coaster, up and down, fast, twisty, berms. It is fun and the fast nature really pushes your skills. My continued goal is to lay off the brakes and just fly like the better riders. If I can do that then momentum should keep me from having to pedal most of the uphills. Try it, you may see something that will build your skills.
