Sorry to hear about that...glad to hear the ride was a good one though - outside of the dogs. I did find the route for the ride and was thinking about doing it on my own - but not if there are that many dogs along the way...for some reason that doesn't surprise me considering it was Morgan county. Very glad to hear that you were able to finish dialing in your fit!

I wouldn't discourage you from doing that route just because of the dogs. I don't know of any area, minus the NW side perhaps, where you won't encounter loose dogs. While they're more plentiful in the southern counties, so too are the hills. So if you wanna learn to climb, you kind of have to resign yourself to the dogs. I will say that the dogs we encountered stopped in their tracks when I yelled at them.
Live with intention. Walk to the edge. Listen hard. Practice wellness. Play with abandon. Laugh. Choose with no regret. Continue to learn. Appreciate your friends. Do what you love. Live as if this is all there is.
