Dangerous tornado outbreak in Kansas and Oklahoma

The atmosphere has set into motion a dangerous tornado outbreak in the central and southern Plains. Lives and property in the path of the severe storms and tornadoes will be threatened into tonight.
The most violent thunderstorms, capable of producing extremely large, long-tracking and destructive tornadoes. The first tornadoes are erupting now over western and central Kansas and Oklahoma. The threat area encompasses cities and towns from Wichita, Kan., to Oklahoma City and Fort Sill, Okla.
Extremely dangerous storms will shift eastward during the evening, bearing down on eastern Kansas, northeastern Oklahoma and extreme western parts of Missouri and northwestern Arkansas. This will put Tulsa, Okla., Chanute, Kan., Kansas City, Mo., and Fayetteville, Ark., in danger.
The thunderstorms will also produce hail the size of golf balls or larger, strong wind gusts over 60 mph or higher and flooding downpours.
