Hey CC, we can hear the hordes of fans pouring out of the arena where the game was, just 2 blocks away from home. Continous cheering ..downtown is just packed and in a different direction a helicopter showed another outdoor gathering spot near us that has 8,000 fans disbanding..
So this afternoon and tonight it's probably 150,000 extra people cramming in and celebrating downtown.
I have abit of mixed feelings about Olympic men's hockey teams vs. the women's. After all the guys are NHL players who go back to their respective teams tomorrow...
Women's Olympic hockey teams ...are really teams that play and train together for a longer time, regardless of their country affiliation.Since there's no women's professional hockey league.
But even so, we're heading out for fireworks viewing later tonight.
