Until I saw what was happening in the northern hemisphere I used to think that we have it bad with our heat-waves, but I now think everything being buried in deep snow would be harder to deal with. At least we in Australia don't have to shovel the stuff off the roads and pathways. Our cars are never buried in snow, but we do have to have very efficient air-conditioning and coolant in our radiators to avoid boiling the engine.

We're in the middle of another "hot spell" and it's a very humid 39 C here at the moment. I sincerely hope the sun shines your way instead of ours for a while.
