Cycling Physics

One of the members of my cycling club (www.seminolecyclists.org) is a high school physics teacher. His name is Luther Davis and he has devised a way to teach his students the physics of cycling as well as perhaps raise some money for our upcoming Tour de Cure in February. His idea ia brilliant.

He will be riding his bike on rollers during the entire school day, 7 hours. During that time he will be instructing his students! He plans on keeping a 20 mph average which allow him to ride 140 miles.

Luther is an awesome guys. Fun to ride with and talk too. I wish that there were teachers like this when I was in school. If you would like you can visit his website. He has a couple of vides for viewing and the ability to donate to the American Diabetes Association.
