Mimi, I noticed that before the forums went down. If you click the button with the quill and paper on the lower right of someone's post it will activate the quick reply box.

It was confusing to me at first. I couldn't figure out how to type in the quick reply box, either!

ETA: I'm not using Firefox, so you could very wel lhave figured this out by now.
