1. Get over my fear of riding downhill. (So, go for a few rides in my neighborhood at home. It's sort of hill central, and every one has a stop sign at the bottom!)
2. Lose a bit of the "freshman fifteen" that appears to have parked itself on my person.
3. Increase my distance. I'd like to do a metric century...or even an imperial one this year. This goes along with...
4. Start riding more, even if it's just a few miles a day--work, weather and my health permitting.
