I was thinking, would it be useful to have a sticky post on how to ride safely? Things like always ride in the same direction as traffic, when to take the lane, advice for making left turns, stuff like that.

Of course I'm too swamped at work right now to actually start it with a good post full of advice. Apologies for that. I can at least contribute this, which was put together by the Washington DC Department of Transportation and Bike Arlington, which is the initiative to promote cycling sponsored by Arlington County, Virginia.
