Burning itchy skin

This is so weird, my shoulders and neck get this burning sensation and are wicked itchy. I stopped using any creams for a few days, no change. I thought maybe fungal put a cream on nothing. This thing is driving me crazy! Little whitish red bumps, only a few, not like a rash.

Any ideas?

Shingles? (Hope not.)

It's not a typical location for shingles, but my son just had a case up and down his left arm. So it's not always on the torso. The burning sensation kinda tips it off. Go to the doctor. It takes a long time to go away. You could make use of some prednisone if that's what it is.
