    Good info on bike fit

    All,

    http://www.billbostoncycles.com/bicycle_fit.htm

I found this site to have a good overview of the different measurements of a bike frame and what they mean for performance. Those of you shorter than 5' 6" may want to check it out for sure as there are some very specific comments about frame design/measurement for folks this size and shorter. Also, there is an interesting overview of crank length.

I came up with this site in and effort to understand what the difference in seat tube length would mean to performance. I'm trying to compare the Rivendell Atlantis and the Surly Long Haul Trucker (58 cm size).

I would really appreciate any comments you have or other sites you know of that would help me learn more about what these measurements mean in terms of performance and fit.

    cheers,
    /s
