I am totally in awe at all of your responses and support. I can't thank each of you individually for your messages, but please know that I have read them all and appreciate the hugs, the sharing of your own stories, and the heartfelt responses. Saying "I love you" to those you love may seem trivial at times, but as someone said, "later" may come sooner than we think.

It will take some time for this wound to heal, but with the support of my family and friends, and people like you who are so kind to a complete stranger, it will be easier to manage.
