Wow - thanks gals! You all really have come through!!! I like a lot of those names! Platinum (the wheels are awesome), racy and sexy are all good descriptions..so right now I think Marilyn is sounding good!
Snow White is another good one, but i think I need one name.
For some reason, booger just came to mind. LMAO.. do not ask why! Oh I know why.. I just got back from sitting my 6yr old neice. LOL Lordy..she was reading me a "gross"-themed book. Something like "Oooh, that's grosssss" . I dunno. Anyway... booger. Wouldn't that be a lovely name? LOL... NOT. That'd be about as comedic as "Larry". Huh???<double take and a Chester the Cheetah sound to go with it>
Sorry... I digress... (its been a long day)
I wasn't absolutely sure about the color of the Keos until I actually saw them on the bike. They really do POP! I'm gonna have to loosen up the release too. This is the 3rd new set of Keos I'm breaking in in the last 2yrs. (I think I posted about a spring busting on my original pair a year or so ago on here). Sigh... Beautiful though!
On the colors.. you know, I am excited that I can actually buy any color jersey now and not worry about clashing. Yeah..I'm one of those anal roadie people... LOL hee hee My cycling drawer is filled with blue this and blue that...(my buds could always spot me on the road with the blue bike and the Shebeest blue leopard print jerseys I wore). I can't wait to buy a red jersey. hee.. I may wait a while to personalize her up... probably as long as it takes to dirty up the white bar tape - - which won't take too long. LMAO.
I'm not sure about this Vitesse saddle (stock on the bike) yet. I really like my butterfly... its black though. Doggone.. may "have to" get the white version. Anyway.. I'll take a few rides on this one to try it out first. If anyone wants to trade this new Vitesse and a black carbon butterfly for a white one you have... let me know.
Triskeliongirl - The bars are an FSA Wing Pro Women's (31.8). I've always wanted a wing-type bar.. Hopefully they're easier on the hands for long rides when I wanna take a break from the hoods.
Sundial.. Giant just calls it a "performance" bike. It has a lot of the TCR's technology on it, but the geometry has me riding more upright instead of the aggressive racing style of the TCR. I need the upright style b/c of my back. I have NO flexion in my lumbar region. Only L4-5 are fused, but I think I've suffered from the "frozen back syndrome". Getting my sit bones on the saddle correctly is a constant battle. SIGH... I'm thinking I may need to get a professional fitting (the kind you have to pay for with a trainer-dude...)
