Wow, what a beautiful day! It was spring-like, sunny, very light winds. I headed out with plans to do my regular 27 mile ride, but it was one of those days where I just felt so good, I let the bike take me where it wanted to go.

Had a slight mechanical issue with my front derailleur, and considered asking a construction worker if I could borrow a screwdriver, but the thought of me, dressed in Lycra, needing a screwdriver.....at best, the poor guy would be mercilessly teased by the rest of the crew. I almost called Sarah for help, but managed instead to keep shifting to the minimum, and finished my ride (including the hills--but not THE HILLS) in the big chain ring.

32 miles, easy-peasy.
