Ha! A problem throughout MA...and all of New England!
I always used to say the mindset of the traffic planners in New England: "If you don't know where you are...you don't belong here!"

And I like your dream bike, too (but I'd opt for 700 c wheels for taller me, and a ti frame...just because I'm a ti junkie! ).
