DH busted the glass carafe to our 8-cup coffee maker yesterday.
I knew that day would eventually come. They always do.

Do you know how hard it is to find a coffee maker with an 8-cup GLASS carafe?? Darned near impossible, but I found one a few years ago on Target.com. Now, they don't carry it any more, and I can't find a replacement carafe for it anwhere.

An 8-cup maker was PERFECT! A 4-cup machine is too small, and our 12-cup machine is a monster...takes up way too much space on the counter and is mostly unused when I just need to make enough coffee for the 2 of us to have 2 cups each morning. Good for parties, but way too much for every day use.

I'm so upset. We're using the 12-cup monster until we find something smaller.
