Chloe's buddy was pretty much abandoned when his owners were evicted several months ago. A relative of one of the ex-tenants was/is supposed to be taking care of him but he's always out, no matter how crappy the weather. I brought him in one day during some pretty heavy rains and commented to the landlord about it. He wasn't too happy about it; said their apartment had to be "bombed" to deal with the fleas. Problem is, he's pretty much attached to Chloe, almost literally. When I take her out for a walk he is right at her side or attempting figure 8's between my legs. I've taken to bringing cat food with me to give me a couple of minutes of unimpeded walking. Anyway, I find myself scoping out cat food sales and stocking up. I do sneak him in periodically (last week we had nights in the mid 30's! And he's asleep on the back of the sofa right now. I'm a bad tenant, I know. I'm not really even a cat person but he just seems to need someone to look after him.)

Here's a picture of Chloe's friend (I hope. I seem to s*ck at uploading images). I'm still trying to get my landlord to agree to letting him stay.
