Oh yes. I just never thought of that as a bad thing...
I wear my Phantom jacket with only a sports bra underneath in the low 40s, with a shortsleeved base layer underneath down to about 28 and a longsleeved base layer underneath below that.
Since I like wearing a thin longsleeved layer more than a thick shortsleeved layer I very very rarely end up taking the sleeves off, so I guess that is a bit of a waste. Unzipping helps for ventilation though.
Winter riding is much less about badassery and much more about bundle-uppery. - malkin
