I know there are several TE people who have house rabbits. Marconi has been my buddy for over 10 years now and appears to be in great health (knock on wood). This evening while trimming his nails I noticed that his dew claw was "hanging" funny. When I examined it closer it was very evident it was detached from the nail bed. I removed the nail to prevent it from getting hung on anything. I've checked the area for excessive bleeding and presently there is none. I'll keep a close eye on it for drainage, swelling, etc and will take him to the vet tomorrow if he needs to be seen &/or shows any signs of discomfort. Is there I need to do this evening? Any suggestions?
