Today, I was out in the blazing hot sun, at altitude, for over 8 hours. I was attending a mountain bike camp. I wore a short sleeve Cannondale UPF 40 jersey (purchased from TE). I also wore white Moeben UPF 50 arm sleeves to protect my arms from the sun. www.moeben.com I don't see on the site where it says they are UPF 50, but that's what the company told me they are rated.

I was comfortable all day long. The sleeves are well-made and not too hot. I like them so much more than the Desoto arm coolers. The Desoto coolers are a lower UPF and I'm not crazy about the gripper elastic. On this afternoon's XC ride, the sleeves did slip down a bit. I have little stick arms and I can't keep even small-sized arm warmers up. I guess I need to lift some more weights!
