Ok, this is a pitiful cry for inspiration. Tomorrow I have surgery. The good news is that it isn't cancer (I've suffered through numerous tests since my yearly cancer check-up in May). The bad news is that I've felt so bad that I've not been on my bike since June 20, and OH that seems so long ago.

What is causing all the problem? My gallbladder. Tomorrow me and my gallbladder will part. It wouldn't be so bad except I saw what my son went through to have his out due to a benign tumor, my dad, too (it is hereditary) AND I got to see two gallbladder surgeries during my nursing clinicals and believe me this is NOT minor surgery.

To make me feel better Ben bought me a new pair of cycling road shoes.

Anyways, girlfriends, this is not major surgery either, however, it has kept me off the bike and I hope, hope, hope that a) the hospital carries OLN network and b) I am back on my bike soon!

P.S. Ben has booked us a week at an au naturel resort in Mexico for August 1, WHAT WAS HE THINKING!
