    BD update: took my 200lb hubby for a ride around the block (I think the maximum cargo load is suppose to be 170 but we did fine). It is great on a small downhill with that kind of weight on the back -- I see why the disc brakes are needed.

    So today I will ride clipped and I'm sure that will be much easier.

    And yes, that is my hubby's Prius. He put over 100K miles on his first Prius with no problems. I highly recommend that vehicle for the gazoline lovers. My 4-cylinder Highlander gets me around when I have to leave town with my 3 dogs. Its an 82-mile drive each way. But now with the BD - maybe . . . .

    And I believe they are the same handlebars as shown on the Xtracylce.com site. I just have to remember to duck when I go under powerlines!
