Good title, RNRG!
Horsemom, that is brutal! I've done 2 big days in a row but never 3. The nice thing about it is that walking is perfectly OK! And you can eat everything in sight and then some. Mmmmmm.....food.![]()
Last week was a little slim for running as Mr. Yellow had his shoulder rebuilt (labral tear, 4 screws, shaving off of the scapula, removal or some bursa) and I had to supervise the narcotic stupor and play nurse. But he's functioning by himself now, so I'm back to a more normal schedule. I still wanted to get in a couple of long back-to-backs, which I did Saturday & Sunday in the snow/slush/mud...even though I know I can make it, I'm still having performance anxiety about the 25K this weekend. And I won't be running in snow, which will be a switch.
Ah, but this week is cycle down week, so I get to take it easy. Had a nice, relatively easy (if not muddy/slushy) 4 mile trail run after work today. I'll run tomorrow, have to take Wed off as I have a night meeting for work, fly out on Thursday, easy runs Thursday and Friday AT SEA LEVEL (!!!), rest Saturday, and the big run is on Sunday. It's in Froglegs' neck of the woods, in Los Osos, CA.

And I won't be running in snow, which will be a switch.
