I know I've managed to pass 3500 miles. I've lost track of the indoor miles, so that figure is an approximation. I didn't have any big goals last year except to ride more, to get faster and to do the Century in Wenatchee. I guess I met those goals, but that was mainly by switching from a hybrid to a road bike (although, oddly, having ridden faster on the road bike, I can now ride almost as fast on the hybrid. I guess it's one of those limitations of the mind...).
As for this year, I'm pretty sure I will aim for doing the STP or RSVP, but those aren't big, scairy goals; I'm pretty sure I can do either one of those rides, and that it will be hard, and I will have to rise above a certain level of discomfort, but I could probably do them NOW if I had to. I should pick something I can't do now? I could try a tri, I suppose, but I don't really like running or swimming. Just suck it up, maybe. Sigh.
