Hi everyone,

A little slower around here these days, huh? We seem to have lost a lot of our posters - such a busy time of year!

Hope everyone is doing well. As for me, I know that when I post a lot I stay more motivated. And when I am more motivated, I post a lot. So I hope that the lack of posts does not mean that people are slacking off...

I seem to have stopped my food and exercise log these days. After doing it for a month, I have found that I seem to be pretty good at judging my calorie levels without writing them down. But I also am more apt to "cheat" if I am not writing everything down.

My exercise is going well. I am swimming a lot these days and my trainer has been giving me killer workouts. At the end of them, I am completely wiped out. Very good stuff. But I am now starting to find that the same thing that happened to me when I was training for my century bicycle ride is now starting to happen during these really hard swimming sessions - after I work out, I am really, really hungry, and then I tend to want to overeat.

Does anyone else find that when they are exercising really hard, it is harder to stay on plan for eating well?

I think that it is easier to lose weight when you are not doing strenuous training, just regular exercise. What do you guys think?

Anyway, tomorrow is a weigh-in day (I do best when I weigh in once a week - on Fridays) and I think I will be somewhere around 140-141. It looks like I might not make it into the 130's this week! We'll see tomorrow, but I am not feeling confident.

Well, enough rambling. Stay focused everyone.

Lynette
