The hardest part is that we've had this unusually sunny and glorious autumn and I think it's ending...and I haven't gotten on my new bike once since it came home...

Just want to say I completely commiserate. At this time of year in Portland, it's hard to miss even one beautiful day, cuz we all know what's coming.

Three of my able-bodied friends have all, within the last month, told me that they've hung their bikes up for the winter. I'm like "Have you looked out the window????"

What is this crazy talk about hanging their bikes up for the winter, anyway???

Uh, woops... I'm kinda going off topic here, I see. I just miss my bike.

Hope you can get out soon... even if just for a little slow coasting! Your Aurora is sure a looker.

p.s. You're going to have change that "renouncing weeniedom" line... there's been nothing remotely weenie-like from you in this bike hunting escapade. You were a focused, driven woman on a mission!
